Wayne Taylor
HKD Founder & Chief Instructor
Wayne began his martial arts journey studying the Chinese fighting arts under the tutelage of Master Chee Soo. As he progressed, curiosity took him to explore the other martial art styles which included Wing Chun and the Filipino arts.

Lee Taylor
Head Instructor
Lee has trained in HKD, for the majority of his life and is currently responsible for the teaching of all lessons.
Introduced to the martial arts at the age of two by his father and founder of HKD Wayne Taylor, Lee has gone on to further develop the system and continues to do so through his own exploration and insistent continued state of learning.
Andrew Satherley
Instructor
Andrew initially came from a sport Karate background before finding HKD some years ago and has grown to become an influential and integral part of the coaching team, with a particular role in the development of the youth programme.
Gavin Sparks
Instructor
Gavin is part of the same generation as Lee, who have trained in HKD since childhood.
Having received his instructor grade in recent years, Gavin continues to push his own development as he takes on the role as a coach.
